While students may have the means to pursue a college degree, affording the basic need of food can often be a struggle. This quantitative study focused on discovering if college students were going hungry while pursuing a college degree at the University of Utah. A secondary aim was to determine if students were aware of food resources accessible to them. Emailed surveys were sent to students attending the University of Utah. Descriptive data suggest that students from specific groups experience hunger while completing their degrees. The findings suggest there may be a student hunger problem on campus. Steps that could be taken to address this issue are explored.
