Nanoparticles synthesis using reverse micelles has become an efficient and versatile method for producing well-defined nanoparticles of various characteristics, sizes, and materials, including precious metals like silver and gold. Different sizes and sphericities of nanoparticles were recorded between gold and silver nanoparticles to analyze efficiency of production and formation between the respected metals. Though hypothesized that gold would outcompete silver based on physical properties of polarity, results showed a significant difference in particle size between silver and gold nanoparticles. An explantion or the studies, results and discussion were taken during this experiement.
