Based on ethnographic fieldwork with a current millenarian splinter group from Seventh-Day Adventists, I provide an analysis of the theology, eschatology, and dietary practices of this millenarian subsect. The “messenger” of this group has predicted the return of Jesus on multiple occasions, and members have off and on divested themselves of worldly possessions—including land in expectation of Jesus’ immanent return. I analyze how this millenarian framework and particular practices—such as diet-- play into the eschatology of members and their expectations for dramatic immanent change.
