Healthcare access disparities remain a persistent and pressing issue in the community, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. Examining the nature of healthcare access disparities helps present a holistic approach that can help bridge the gap, providing a more equitable healthcare system.

Healthcare disparities are deeply embedded in the network of social and structural inequalities, driven by a complex interplay of geographical, economic, and cultural factors. Such disparities create health gaps, where individuals from marginalized communities are disproportionately burdened by a lack of access to essential medical services.
