In my four and a half decades of life, I have always been fascinated with movement. I continue to experience it's beauty and influence in nature, art, the human body, conflict, and emotion. I have often wished to combine the elements of Music, Media, Dance, Theatre, and the intimate moments of our lives. (positive and negative). Our Production Film entitled "Durum Modus", music generously agreed to be used by Composer Michael J. Elliott, Production Director of Sybrid Music. The film encompasses all three disciplines. Harnesses all six senses including psychological Imagery and perception. The motif is Balance, and finding that balance through movement in the forms of Intimacy, Strength, Stability, and Intensity. The story speaks about a fighting master observing the four female warriors he has been instructing. They are working on their balance through their dance movements with each other, the conflict faced by their craft of fighting, the the intimacy they unify and grow from through combining individuality and devotion together as a company. By creating a more multi-disciplined and consent driven emotional experience, a clearer message is sent, and all six senses are achieved. By using the modalities of Dance Choreography, Fighting Choreography, and Intimacy Choreography, this research is uncovering just that. The expansion of and business of movement, the dynamic stories of an ever growing, diverse, and talented human race, and the power to uplift and educate the human soul!
