Nearly 800 years ago a settlement formed under the rule of King Judah. Since then, colonies have built on top of this ancient civilization. Behi Lehi is an archeological dig site home to these past civilizations. Located an hour southwest of Jerusalem you can find this amazing active archeological dig site. It is home to three different religious buildings and numerous subterranean buildings. As UVU students we were challenged to build a visitor center for this prominent historical site in Jerusalem. This visitor center will be a gateway for visitors to start exploring the site as well as a place of education for the public. This visitor center proposal will be presented to the Beit Lehi Foundation, the Israel Antiquities Authority, and Israeli government.
