Nutrition has an undisputed impact on physical performance. This project aims to examine the impact of nutrition knowledge and personal beliefs on the diet and physical abilities of Unified Fire Authority Fire Fighters. Participants will be asked to complete a survey with questions focused on regular dietary intake,fad diet use, nutrition knowledge, as well as with some questions about their personal beliefs regarding nutrition. Through descriptive statistical analysis, relationships will be assessed, if any, between participants’ fad diet use, nutrition knowledge, and their physical performance on their routine fitness assessment.
