Women have continually been missing from the process and content of peace negotiations in the Middle East and Northern Africa. This presentation discusses the importance of peace processes, the ongoing lack of female representation, the contributing factors to this issue, the effect of women's presences, and current successful practices to address this issue. This presentation was given at the Ballard Brief Summit at BYU in September 2020.
