UV damage has long been recognized as a problem and preventing UV exposure is a priority in minimizing this damage. One solution in eliminating UV exposure is reversible tinting in cars and buildings. We report on the progress in the development of a prototypical model of a cost-effective, versatile, method of reversibly tinting glass. The resulting product will have many applications in reducing light and UV damage when needed.
